Microsoft has released a unique 90-day trial edition download of Windows 7 Enterprise RTM version. The Windows 7 operating system is slated for a launch on October 22.
The Windows 7 Enterprise evaluation download has been available since September 1. It is now available for free from Microsoft. It comes with the same all-features-packed OS that is available to the Volume Licensing customers in the enterprise.
The trial version is available in both 32- and 64-bit versions in English, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese .It will benefit both small and medium-sized businesses .It has added some new features available only in the Enterprise edition. The SMBs that lack any MSDN or TechNet subscriptions can also avail the trial edition.
Speaking about the new free trail offer, Stephen Rose, Microsoft's senior community manager a Windows blog post said, "Many IT pros we talk to have been looking for a way to continue their work with the Release Candidate to test their applications, hardware and deployment strategies with final Windows 7."
The limitations of 90-day trial include activation within 10 days after installation. The users need to purchase and re-install Windows 7 enterprise after the trial period.
