World’s leading software company, Microsoft Inc is planning to introduce its new antivirus software called Morro very shortly. The company will provide the anti-virus service for free and it will compete with products slod by Symantec Corp and McAfee Inc. According to spokesperson of the Microsoft, currently the anti-virus software is being tested with the employees of the company. The company is expected to launch the trail version of the product on its website.
 
Microsoft’s Morro antivirus software will offer malware protection for the Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. The software has been designed to provide complete protection from malware, including viruses, spyware, rootkits and trojans. The company claimed that Mooro will be different from other free antivirus applications. The users can get the addition features of Mooro by spending some more bucks. 

Microsoft’s Morro is basically a replacement of its Windows Live OneCare PC care and security suite. Meanwhile, Symantec and McAfee do not see Microsoft’s free antivirus service as a threat. According to Symantec Consumer division president Janice Chaffin, now-a-days consumer require a full Internet security suite in order to stay fully protected.
