According to the sources in Microsoft Corporation the next version of Windows operating system will be in the market in the year 2010.The successor of the Vista operating system will be based on multi-touch technology said the source. Currently it is dubbed as Windows 7, customers would be able to use their fingers to perform task by touching the touch-ready display.

 

It should therefore run on the same hardware recommended for Vista. Windows 7 is based on Windows Vista, Microsoft’s current operating system. One analyst said that the popularity will depend on the user-friendly technology and added that three years are long in software market.
