India’s noted mobile phone maker Micromax has unveiled its first Android handset- Micromax Andro A60, a smartphone that runs on Google Android 2.1 Eclair.
 
The phone comes with 2.8-inch touch-screen with 320 x 240 pixel resolution, 150MB internal memory, expandable up to 32GB memory card and 3.2 mega pixels camera with Auto-focus and video recording.
 
Micromax Andro A60is equipped with dual-band GSM, 3G feature, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HSUPA 7.2Mbps speed. Besides, the phone will also have accelerometer and gravity sensor for Android-based games.
 
The handset, however, offers just 4 hours of talk time. It will be available with almost all the retailers in India. The Micromax Andro A60 comes priced with less than Rs. 8,000.
 
Micromax is a multinational telecommunications company based in Haryana, India. The company has significant share in the emerging mobile phone market India.
