Forbes magazine has released the list 'World's 100 Most Powerful Women' and US First lady Michelle Obama has made it to the top position. With her husband the prominent national politician, Michelle Obama has become a part of popular culture.
 
US First lady has left behind corporate honchos like India-born Pepsi Co chief Indra Nooyi and Queen of England to score the top slot in the list.
 
Meanwhile, Kraft Foods Chief Executive Irene Rosenfeld came second while media mogul Oprah Winfrey is named third.
 
Indra Nooyi managed to secure 6th rank on the list. The new list also brought good news for India as Axis bank Chief Executive Shikha Sharma and ICICI bank head Chanda Kocchar are also named in the list.
 
The 89th position has been secured by Shikha Sharma while Kocchar made it to the 92nd spot.
