Amrita Rao may not have as long a queue of fans as that of bigger stars like Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai, but she definitely can boast of having some really super-elite admirers such as renowned painter MF Husain. Recently the actress was simply stunned after she received a surprise birthday gift of three paintings from Husain. Experts estimate that each of MF Husain’s paintings gifted to Rao must be at least worth Rs one crore. ‘It’s a great honor to be immortalized by Husain’s legendary colors and strokes,’ gushed a beaming Rao.
Even MF Husain confirmed this news by stating, ‘Woh toh khud hi khuda ki banayi hui perfect painting hain (She is herself like a perfect painting made by god) Her body language is so beautiful that it can only be captured on canvas.’ He informed that one painting was inspired by the actress’s performance as Anarkali at the Filmfare Awards function. In the remaining two paintings, the painter said that he tried arresting the essence of the small town girl character she has portrayed in the film Vivaah.
