In Madonna's recent world tour 'Sweet & Sticky,' in one of her performances McCain was compared with Hitler, and Robert Mughabe; the issue has infuriated Republican contender. Factually, in a video segment, which accompanied the song 'Get Stupid' McCain's image was flashed up alongside images of Hitler and Mugabe. Now, Republican campaigners are fiery on the issue.

 

Although, Madonna is not supporting Barack Obama, in later part of the same video, his image was flashed with John Lenon, and Mahatma Gandhi. She considered them as cultural ambassadors. The footage showing the Republican candidate's image alongside scenes of destruction, global warming and starving children, according to campaigners it would have negative impact on McCain's campaign for presidency.

 

Republican spokesman Tucker Bounds on the issue said that the comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time. According to him the episode clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits.
