Leading car manufacturing company, Maruti Suzuki has officially launched its all-new hatchback car 'Ritz' in Indian market on Friday (May 15). The company has launched the petrol as well as diesel versions of the new Ritz. As per company sources, the Ritz petrol will be priced between Rs 3,90,000 and Rs 4,80,000 while the diesel version will cost between Rs 4,65,000 and Rs 4,99,000.
 
The new hatchback car, Ritz has been designed on the lines of Suzuki's European car Splash. Ritz comes with two different engine options- a new 1.2-litre, four-cylinder 85 PS petrol engine and 1.3-litre, 16-valve DDiS, 75 PS diesel engine. The premium hatchback car will be available in five variants with petrol and diesel engines. The three variants with petrol engines are LXi, VXi and ZXi while the two with diesel engines are LDi and VDi. 

Ritz is the eighth new model from Maruti's stable in 48 months and it is the first Bharat Stage-IV emission norms compliant car in India. The new car has been designed keeping in mind the comfort factor of the passengers. Ritz features a comfortable rare seat that can accommodate three passengers at a time. The company has kept the suspension of the vehicle with a ground clearance of 170 mm, which will enable comfortable driving on Indian roads.
