Pop diva Mariah Carey’s song Touch My Body from her latest album E=MC2 has turned the 18th number single by her, to hit the Billboard Music charts. The feat has even surpassed Elvis Presley’s record. The pop diva has been riding high on success lately. She was recently voted the 100 most influential people by the Times magazine. Mariah is also the proud recipient of five Grammy awards.
The singer recently remarked that she makes music and loves to do that. She further remarked that what really excites her is when she hears her new songs for the first time on the radio. The American singer and songwriter who marked her recording debut way back in 1990 has indeed come a long way. Mariah says that her dreams of making it big started when she was young. The pop diva remarked that she saw things on TV and the idea of glamour looked great to her. She revealed that watching all this she always used to say that this is what she would want when she’d grow up.
