As a newcomer looking for a place in Bollywood is a tough challenge especially if you take on to a critical role that may not sound very entertaining which the new entrant Maradona Rebello has dared to take in Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Pankh’.

Here Maradona is portrayed as a mentally challenged person who loses his mental balance after losing his childhood girl friend.

Quite impressively performed by Maradona who showcases how he  grapples to fight his psychological side-effects to lead a normal life. After a year’s combat the protagonist meets a friend who is a successful film actress played by the hottie Bipasha Basu with whom he makes an imaginary conversation.

There are many other mix feelings in the film story that makes it more complicated for the people to grab the concept.

Throwing light into this new challenging role, the actor stated, "It's the story of a pushy mother and a male child who's pushed into the movies dressed as a girl. My character grows up confused about his sexuality. I had to do many things that didn't come naturally to me because I'm a straight guy. I had to kiss a man, get pushed around by him.”

It is quite hard to frame oneself engaged with the same sex, Maradonna highlighted, "I know I'm straight. But playing a guy confused about his sexuality can shake you completely."

The film appears far from mass taste who are not friendly with lesbian concept but in the run Maradona might have a chance to earn critical acclamation if his job appeals to the mass.
