Raavan, the most expected venture of the ace film maker Mani Ratnam, has put itself in trouble again. Raavan is a bilingual venture of Mani Ratnam which will mark the debut of Vikram and Priyamani in Bollywood. This movie has Bollywood’s most talked couple, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles.
The movie was in limelight last month as it had met with an accident on its sets in Kerala. Now it is again in headlines as the shooting is getting delayed due to rough weather. Moreover, the shooting of the movie is being opposed by the forest officials of Ahmednagar as a film set has been set up in the jungle for which the concerned people have not taken permission.
According to sources, the forest officials are said to have filed a complaint against 11 people of the movie crew as they had come up with an illegal set for shooting in the jungle. They have also seized one JCB, and four tractors from the location.
The film had jumped into trouble when an elephant got wild and killed its owner as well as terrorised the entire crew including the star couple Abhi-Ash, near the Athirapally waterfalls of Kerala.
It looks as if the fate of the Abh-Ash starrer ’Raavan’ is not at all good! Let us wait and see if this ill-luck is reflected on the box office also.
