Eying the national capital as a prospective business gateway Malaysia Airlines has started its new flight service on the Delhi-Kuala Lumpur route. The announcement of the new flight service by Malaysian airline has increased the number of fights from Delhi to Malaysia to 10. Including New Delhi a total of 32 flights will be operated by Malaysia airlines in one week. Other major destinations accessed by the airline include Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
According to the marketing manager of Malaysia Airlines, Devinder Bindra the introduction of new flight service has increased the over all flight capacity of Malaysia Airlines to 11 per cent. He also stated the company has taken the step after considering each and every factor including the fact that Delhi is one of the important business spots for the company. The new flight has increased the seat capacity of Malaysia Airlines to 2,900 per week. Bindra also informed that the company has also started additional flight service from Bangalore.
