Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles, the Indo-Bahamian pair, have made it to the semifinal round of the Cincinnati Masters by defeating the American wild cards John Isner and Mardy Fish. Though Bhupathi and Knowles ousted their American rivals by 7-5 6-7 (5) 12-10, the latter did not yield in so easily.

Fish and Isner had a better first serve percentage in the first set. Though their praiseworthy performance, they showed that they are definitely not an easy target. But the more experienced Indo-Bahamian partners Bhupati and Knowles managed to go one-up after a vital break.

The fourth-seeded Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles, however, got in form in the decider to emerge out trumps in a match that last almost two-hours. The winning team will face top seeds Mike and Bob Bryan in the next round. The Bryan brothers beat the eighth seeded Polish pair of Marcin and Mariusz Fyrstenberg 6-4 7-6 (0).
