The MacWorld Conference and Exposition 2010 started this year without the official presence of Apple.
The event had always featured a Steve Jobs keynote but this time it’s a different story.
With no presence of Apple, the Expo would include 250 vendors introducing their Apple related products. A fan base of about 30, 000 people are likely to attend the conference.
Apple had long announced its unwillingness to participate in Macworld after the company no longer felt its need to connect to customers using such an event. All that said was true as the company has increased its retail stores in an alarming number worldwide.
The conference is expected to run from February 9th to February 13th and would involve Apple enthusiasts, developers and talk shop. There are about 70 iPhone developers taking part in the event who would showcase their apps to the apple community.
