Maruti Suzuki has launched a limited edition of its oldest brand M800 which would be priced at Rs. 2,11,76+5,200.

Writing an enticing slogan to its dealers about its re-launch of oldest brand of Maruti 800, Maruti Suzuki promises that new ‘M800 Uniq’ will be an automatic choice of people, who love 'Uniq' things in life. M800 will be in limited editions only and would cost 5,200 extra, that means customers have to pay 2,11,176 + 5,200 Rupees. The measure perhaps would enlarge the selling of cars which has been receding at 7.47 per cent this year.
 
The company expects that the re-launch of M800 would boost sales of cars which have been receding at the rate of 13.72 per cent. This year the company could sell only 5,362 in units this month, while last year it had sold 6,214 units in same month. Current data show that in April to June period this year Maruti Suzuki has sold 16,649 units as against 17,994 units in the corresponding period a year-ago.
 
M800 has been historic car in terms of sales and in its 25 years stint, it has been sold in 25,00,000 numbers. Also, it has been exported to outside India market numbering 183,000 units. This time it will have new features such as body graphics, all new beige upholstery; trendy door trims with fabric patch, smart lower console box, rear package tray, and stylish dome decal.
