Pharmaceutical major Lupin Laboratories has entered into a promotion and marketing agreement with US-based Forest Laboratories for its Aerochamber line of products. Lupin is a well known producer of herbal products and its products are a fusion of heritage and science which are quite identical to Ayurveda.

 

According to the company source under the agreement Lupin Pharmaceuticals US would be able to use Forest's 50-person sales force to promote the product to pediatricians in that country. Evidently, AerochamberPlus is a valved holding chamber device with metered dose inhalers. Its major role is to improve delivery of medication to users.

 

According to Kamal Sharma, MD of Lupin the alliance would extend Lupin's presence in the respiratory segment. The company website suggests that Lupin has been successfully manufacturing medicines and efficacious products in a range of therapeutic areas including Diabetes, Pediatrics, GI, Pain Management and Gynecology.
