One of the major carriers of Germany, Lufthansa airlines has canceled its two flights to Mumbai after the terrorists' attacks. The carrier however assured that that it will resume its services on Friday (November 28). According to source, the recent step was taken by Lufthansa in consideration of the safety of its crew and passengers. The German travelers in India have already been advised by German Foreign Ministry to avoid the financial capital, Mumbai for security measures. The existing German tourists in Mumbai have been told not to come out till the situation gets normal. Apart from it, the German travel agencies are reported to have cancelled tours to India due to security factor.
Mumbai terror attacks have affected the city badly besides sending its repercussions to other parts of the country. Several events and operations in the country have been cancelled owing to Wednesday's violence in Mumbai. Besides paralyzing the social lives of the people, the violence is supposed to crack down heavily on the economy of the country. Over the last two decades, Mumbai has come under terror attacks for several times. The November 27 terror attack came only two years after the Mumbai train bomb blasts which claimed several lives. It may take couple of weeks for Mumbai to get back to normalcy.
