With many unconventional methods of saving water coming about, the idea of a waterless toilet just got a boost. Funny it may seem but this actually is practicable.

We tend to flush a lot of water to down our waste into the sewer which is a shame actually. The Loowatt solves this problem with a toilet made from 90% horse feces. The biodegradable lining stores your waste which is then sent into an outdoor biodigestor to convert it into biofuel for cooking.

The project is still to receive the funding it needs as investors have a hard time taking the proposal seriously (surprise surprise). However, because of the low manufacturing cost (horse dung is not exactly an expensive item) it will cost anybody not more than USD $28 or converted simply, only a little above Rs. 1000.
