Lindsay Lohan's Mum Blast At The Media Of Waging A Vengeance  |
Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina has lashed out at the fashion critics who panned her daughter's new clothing line for Emanuel Ungaro - accusing the media of waging a vendetta against her whole family.
The Mean Girls star debuted her new creations at Paris Fashion Week in France on Sunday (04Oct09) and was savaged by the snooty style press for her efforts.
One reporter went so far as to call Lohan's creations "an embarrassment".
Her mum Dina insists the negative comments are just the latest in a long line of mean-spirited press attacks on the Lohan clan.
She tells WENN, "Lindsay called me after the Ungaro show crying happy tears and then the press tore her apart... The show was great. The press is just not very nice to us.
"She's just a little girl. God gave her a gift and she's just trying to create. Enjoy her movies, enjoy her fashion, just leave her alone."
The Ungaro catwalk show was emotional for Lohan, who shed tears as she walked the runway and admitted the role she played in creating the range was "the hardest thing I've ever done".
