LG Electronics India has introduced its new low-power consumption LCD monitor W1941S in the Indian market. The company claimed that the new LCD monitor consumes only 21 W which is almost half the amount consumed by other LCD monitors of the market. The 18.5-inch monitor screen offers a contrast ratio of 8000:1 DFC. The New LG W1941S incorporates F-engine technology which offers microscopic picture quality. The new monitor comes with life-like images as its screen is endowed with colour depth of 16.7 million ranges. The picture quality offered by the LG monitor is amazing as the screen has 1366 X 768 pixels resolution.
Besides all these features, W1941S comes with sleep mode option. By operating the sleep mode function, the users can save power. The automatic resolution adjustment facility of the new monitor enables the users to enjoy different images in different modes. The LG monitors can be used for both home and office purpose. According to the business group head of LG Electronics India, R. Manikandan, the new product from LG is a perfect blend technology and aesthetics. Stating about the low power consumption capability of the LCD monitor, he said that it will save lots of electricity bills. The market price of the new LG W1941S LCD monitor is Rs 8,500.
