LG is all set to launch its three new windows based mobile phones in the next few weeks. This was revealed by Electronics Inc, the third-largest mobile phone manufacturer of the world.
The new LG phones will be the first to feature Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system from Microsoft Corp.LG claimed that the new OS will make web navigation easier for the users.
LG’s deal with Microsoft that was finalised in February will make Windows Mobile the primary smartphone platform for the South Korean company.
LG has also plans to introduce a total of 13 new Windows phones on a global basis by the end of 2010.
Microsoft expects that its Windows Mobile operating system will give competition to Nokia’s Symbian, which is used in two-thirds of smartphones.
LG which is also a part of Symbian Foundation .It is also developing models based on Google's Android software.
