After Sacrlet, LG Electronics has launched 'Jazz' full High Definition (HD) LCD televisions in India. Admittedly, Flat Panel Display (FPD) segment has around 30% market share in TV market. According to Amitabh Tiwari, Business Group Head, Consumer Electronics & Kitchen Appliances, LGEIL, Jazz will redefine expectations for television sound.

 

Mr Tiwari further said that with the latest launch the firm wants to garner 30% market share in the FPD Segment by year end. In a similar statement, Moon B Shin, MD of LGEIL said that the LG Jazz with stylized design and smart technology will play a major role in capturing customer loyalty. He promised for continuous launch of revolutionary products like Jazz to complement the urbane lifestyle.

 

The firm revealed that the TV has first time ever Auto Sliding Speakers with 500w sound. Its built-in 3.1-channel virtual surround sound and in-built woofers are major attractions. Admittedly, FPD-Link is a high-speed interface that connects the output of a video controller in a LCD television set to the display panel and generally, LCD TVs use this interface internally for better quality.
