The LG GW550 Windows smart phone has been just unveiled by the LG Electronics in CommunicAsia exhibition held at Singapore. This is a phone that does not have touch screen option for tits corporate users.

The LG GW550 which runs on the Windows Mobile Standard Edition is a look alike of Nokia E71. Even the design of the mobile as well as the way the keyboard has been designed looks as if the cues have been copied from Nokia.  The Q, A and Z keys of the QWERTY keypad has been placed in a vertically linear fashion.

The LG GW550 has a keyboard with a front facing QWERTY. The QVGA Display is about 2.4 inches and the display is a non touch one. The other features of this LG GW550 are the support for the stereo speakers, a 3 MP camera, and support for 7.2 Mbps HSPA 3G data connectivity as well as a battery of 1300 mAh.

The new Windows smart phone from LG provides support for the quad band GSM as well as Global 3G. But immense pressure has to be provided to find a place with the AT&T as the provider already has Omnia Pro B7320.

Sprint, Verizon as well as T-Mobile will be provided with other versions of the Windows Mobile Standard so that there will be any confusion for the customers in USA.
