LG has launched its full slide-out QWERTY Android phone, the LG GW620 in India.
 
The touchscreen phone is a mid-range phone that is likely to compete with Samsung i7500 Galaxy and the HTC Tattoo sets. Again, in the pricing segment, the LG phone is also higher, which may be a factor to survive in the market.
 
The GW620 comes with a full-fledged QWERTY keyboard with a 3-inch capacitive TFT screen. The other features incorporated with this set include document viewer, a 5MP camera with Video recording, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, and v2.0 micro USB. The camera supports geo-tagging, face detection and image stabilization features packed into it.   
 
The phone also supports features like playback of Divx files, as well. As of now, it runs Android OS, v1.5 (Cupcake). LG has incorporated its custom S-Class UI over Android on this phone."
 
For the music buffs, there is a 3.5 mm jack and FM Radio with this GW620 phone. The phone runs with Android OS, v1.5 and the custom S-Class UI is also there that makes the device a handy one.
 
On the storage front, the LG set has150MB of internal memory and can take microSD cards of up to 32GB. The touchscreen phone offers a talk time of 7h 40 minutes and standby time of 500 hours.
 
The LG GW620 phone is now available at Rs. 18,990 in India.
