Lenovo has launched energy efficient monitors called ThinkVision in world market. The firm has said that the new ThinkVision offers contrast ratios of up to 1000:1. It has 5-millisecond response times besides resolutions up to 1,920 by 1,200. Interestingly, monitors are available in the range of ThinkVision L1700p, L1940 Wide, L1940p Wide, L2240p Wide, L2440p Wide, and L2440x Wide.
These monitors are environment-friendly and cost-effective, and will have four high-speed USB ports and a DisplayPort. The firm has confirmed that the monitors will be available Friday onwards. Prices vary from $240 for the ThinkVision L1700p to $750 for the ThinkVision L2440x Wide. In comparison to earlier monitors of Lenovo these monitors would be able to cut energy use by 30% to 60%.
A release from the firm said that it is committed to offering users environmentally responsible technologies. Accordingly, favoring green practice, the ThinkVision L2240p Wide, L2440p Wide, and L2440x Wide models are 65% recycled and in turn, 100% recyclable. Evidently, Lenovo, after acquiring IBM in the year 2005 became a major hardware company in the world.
