Lenovo has launched the first-ever 17-inch widescreen mobile workstation called ThinkPad W700 in India. Lenovo's mobile workstation is designed to deliver unparalleled performance to data and graphics-intensive user environments. The ThinkPad W700 comes with built-in digitiser and colour calibrator. Lenovo blends these innovations with technologies such as new NVIDIA Quadro FX mobile graphics.
The ThinkPad W700 supports the upcoming Intel mobile quad core processor. Talking about the new mobile workstation, executive director (commercial business) of Lenovo India, Jaivinder Singh Gill said that Lenovo has engineered such a unique mobile workstation to cater to the needs of the niche user segments like photographers and digital designers. According to him, the new ThinkPad W700 is poised to give perfect mobile solution to the users. He claimed that the new mobile workstation with cutting-edge innovation and ultimate visual experience will revolutionize the industry.
With WiFi wireless connectivity, ThinkPad W700 can be configured with up to 8GB of memory. Dual internal hard drives with RAID configurations can also incorporated in the Lenovo's mobile workstation. The ThinkPad W700 offers optional 400-nit WUXGA display. The users get enough flexibility in transferring and accessing digital content as ThinkPad W700 comes with a 7-in-1 multi-card reader and five USB ports. There is also an optional fingerprint reader facility in Lenovo's mobile workstation. The new ThinkPad W700 mobile workstation from Lenovo can be available for Rs 1,49,000.
