The launch of the sleek and powerful IdeaPad Y710 notebook PC was announced in India by the Lenovo Company on Wednesday, July 30. A press release issued by the company stated that the IdeaPad Y710 is its first computer notebook which features a 17 inch monitor cum a 1440 x 900 resolution.

The Lenovo Company has employed the ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2600 with 512MB of memory for a graphics processor. The IdeaPad Y710 notebook is just perfect for the entertainment aficionado as its features comprises Dolby Home Theatre system, WLAN connectivity and also an optional Blu-ray DVD reader. 

The newly launched IdeaPad Y710 notebook PC also sports a performance control switch with Turbo mode for optimum power. Features such as big screen, storage space and performance enable the IdeaPad Y710 to even make do as a desktop replacement.

The Lenovo Company highlights that the most attractive feature about its IdeaPad Y710 computer notebook is its hard drive of up to 320 GB with a speed of 5400 rpm. It also comprises a second, hot swap hard drive.
