Pair of Paes and Czech Lukas Dlouhy defeated Argentines Maximo Gonzalez and Juan Monaco by 6-2, 6-0 and stormed into final of US Open. Reaching into doubles final of US Open is double delight for this Indian ace player. He has already reached into the final of mixed doubles. For Paes, this is another opportunity to clinch his fourth mixed doubles Grand Slam title.

 

Paes after reaching into finals excitingly said that he has always liked playing in US Open. He admitted that he has fared well in the US Open so far, and that is something which motivates him to play tennis more passionately. The 35 year old veteran said that he started at a young age, but he still plays for he loves tennis. He confessed that Tennis has given him everything in life.

 

Paes promised to play tennis as long as his fitness permits and passion lives in him. Paes in his 17 year long tennis career has won 39 doubles titles and all four Grand Slam trophies in men's doubles. His last US doubles victory came in the year 2006 when he had paired with Czech Martin Damm. However, things would not be easy for him, at 35, how would he manage two finals has to be seen.
