The phone also comes equipped with Internet features including email, Opera mini, Skype, Nimbuzz and MSN. The dual SIM mobile phone from Lava also comes with Bluetooth, media player, 3.5 mm headset jack.

Earlier, TVS was the first company that launched a keyboard for computer with the new Rupee symbol.

Before this, Lava Mobiles had come out with the novel keypad displaying keys in ABCD format instead of the usual QWERTY keypad. Now with the introduction of Rupee symbol into its keypad, Lava has once again emerged as a first mover.
