HTC has announced that its latest HTC netbook may be released in the coming weeks. This has been disclosed at the launch of new HTC Touch HD2 smartphone.
HTC is gearing up for this segment after the arrival of Nokia Booklet 3G. According to company sources, the new netbook will sport with unique features.
At present, HTC has a 7-inch netbook which runs with Windows Vista. The new netbook is likely to carry the latest Windows 7 or the Android OS. It may also get some advanced features to compete in the netbook market.
As per the company sources, they are not in a hurry to release the netbook as they will have to assess the users’ response also before coming up with any new product.
However, the impact can only be revealed after it lands in the market as there are already a number of netbooks from different brands in the market.
