Lata Mangeshkar is celebrating her 81st birthday anniversary today, she is the biggest blessing to the Indian music Industry and the whole Bollywood fraternity wishes on her ‘the day’.
Born in the year 1929, 28 September, Lata Mangeshkar has achieved milestones in her music career, setting unachievable benchmarks for others. She has sung more than 1000 songs in her career, not only in Hindi, but in other regional languages as well. She has been in the industry for the last six and a half decades and even at the age of 81 years, she has a golden voice.
Lataji has also been featured in the Guinness Book of World records for the maximum number of recordings from the year 1974 to 1991. The Royal Albert Hall, London has recorded the graph of Lata's voice with the help of a computer which is by far the "Most Perfect" in the World.
Lataji has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate by 6 universities including the New York University. She has also won the highest honor in India, Bharat Ratna and has maintained the dignity of her place in the industry.
