American singer, Lady Gaga is firm on grabbing the top prizes from Beyonce Knowles in this year’s MTV Music Awards.
The pop stars landed a massive nine nominations each and both will compete for “Video of The Year” and “Best Female Video” at the 13 September event in New York.
The “Just Dance” singer admits she is thrilled with the honour, and is sure she won't go home empty-handed.
"So excited! I can't believe it. I'm delighted to be in Beyonce's company, and I can't wait to go to the awards show and hopefully kick some a**."”, Lady Gaga said.
