Senior BJP leader, L.K. Advani, will kick off yet another ‘yatra’ across India on Sep 15. This ‘yatra’ of the senior BJP leader is aimed at enhancing the morale of the party workers. This ‘yatra’ will also seek to find new members who can rejuvenate the party.
"He (Advani) will launch his 'yatra' around Sep 15. It will start from Jammu or Kerala," a source close to the veteran leader said in New Delhi on Saturday.
According to the source, the senior BJP leader will also be visiting Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh, where the elections are scheduled for October first-week.
Advani had disclosed in June that he will conduct a ‘yatra’ to find out the reason n behind the losing of Lok Sabha elections.
"In order to let party (members) know both the opportunities and tasks before us, I have decided to tour the entire country. I shall be visiting all the states, and more than one place in some bigger states," he said.
The tour which was supposed to kick off soon after the budget had been delayed due to the controversial book written by ex-BJP leader, Jaswant Singh, on Pakistan founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
