The audio release of superstar Rajnikanth’s much awaited film ‘Kuselan/Kuchelan’ took place on Monday, June 30, 2008. The audio was released by K Balachander and the first CD was received by music maestro AR Rehman. The theme of the film revolves around friendship and in keeping with the theme; top personalities presented at the event handed over the film’s audio CD to their respective best friends. AR Rehman handed over the music CD to GV Prakash Kumar, music director of Veyil.
Superstar Rajnikanth gifted the CD to his best friend Murali. The remarkable actor also announced at the event that he would donate Rs 15 lakh to the film workers on the release of the film. The actor noted that he owned his name and fame to his mentor K Balachander, who also released the audio for the film. The film has been directed by P Vasu and produced by Pushpa Kandasamy and Vijaykumar. Rajnikanth also showered praises at the director of the film at the audio release, noting that Vasu being an all-rounder took care of every department in the film in a very meticulous way.
