For all those movie buffs who were desperately waiting to see the chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Mexican beauty, Barbara Mori will be happy to watch their on screen romance.

‘Kites’ has released worldwide on 21 May, Friday.

The much talked about spicy love rumours blooming between Duggu  a.k.a Hrithik Roshan and the hot babe all the way from Mexico, Barbara on the sets of Kites is known to everyone but there on screen sizzling romance is enough to glue the audience to their seats.

‘Kites’ which was promoted as the India’s first crossover film for global audience is a combo of love, action mixed with a heart-wrenching climax.

So let’s zoom into the life of Jai (Hrithik Roshan) who is a dance teacher by profession in Las Vegas but eyes on making a quick buck. His desire to become rich forces him to play love game with the Gina (Kangana) who is the daughter of casino owner (Kabir Bedi). Coincidentally, a Mexican woman Natasha (Barbara) who is an illegal Mexican immigrant is also playing the same game with Gina’s vicious, homicidal brother Tony (Nick Brown).

The plan was moving smoothly until Jai and Natasha falls in love with each other. But, the language barrier seems to be a problem between the couple. Barbara manages to speak only broken English.

Now it was the decision time for them to choose between love and money but as expected Jai and Natasha sacrifices money over love. But, in return they also end up winning the rivalry of Gina’s dad and Brother Tony. He wants to kill Jai and get Natasha back and it is the time when the wild ride starts for the fleeing lovers, with not just Tony, but also cops hunting for them.

Agreed, that the story of the movie is not new nor it is an exact piece of path-breaking cinema but the strength of the story lies in its presentation. Director, Anurag Basu has done a wonderful job and has made the simple tale of love into a an edge-of-the-seat roller coaster ride comprising of stunning visuals, loving romantic moments, jaw-dropping action and non-stop chases.

Hrithik Roshan fans will be delighted to see the actor in ‘Kites’ as he is looking impressive and evocative. And Barbara Mori is looking smoky hot- in all ‘sensuous’. Talking about her acting skills, she has handled the intensity of her character perfectly. In addition to it, the chemistry between Roshan and Barbara is simply hot, which is the highlight of the film.

Nick Brown has given a power performance and has done full justice to his role of the arrogant and crazy casino owner. While, Kangana does not have much of the role in the movie but she as the psycho is perfect.

The cinematography of the film is mind blowing and the credit goes to Ayananka Bose. The camera has beautifully captured the casinos and fountains of Las Vegas to the deserts of Mexico.

The spirit of ‘Kites’ is what will attract the audience the most. In all it is a must watch flick.
