The daily non-stop flights of Kingfisher Airlines between Mumbai and Hong Kong will be available to the passengers from Sep 15. Yet another daily non-stop service will be added to the fleet from Sep 16, which will be between Mumbai and Singapore. The flights on both these routes will employ Airbus A 330-200s.

This is the first of the Kingfisher services to South East Asia on its international route network.

“Given the strong linkages between India and South East Asia, we believe that there is untapped potential and these new routes promise to serve the unmet needs of discerning corporate and leisure flyers. The initial response to the introduction of these new routes has been extremely encouraging. Hong Kong and Singapore are very important markets for us and with the support of our General Sales Agents, we are confident of capturing and growing the market,” said Siva Ramachandran, Vice President, Global Sales, Kingfisher Airlines.

There will be two classes in both the flights, with 30 for Kingfisher First and the 187 for Kingfisher Class. The Kingfisher First will have services like a social area with bar, a break-out seating area with 2 couches and bar stools, an in-seat massager on every seat, mood lighting as well as in-seat chargers.

Kingfisher currently files to 65 Indian destinations and 5 international destinations, with a fleet of 71 flights.
