Hollywood starlet Keira Knightley started off her movie career at an early age and did not have the time to enjoy with her friends and family therefore three years back she almost decided to say good bye to the showbiz world. At the time, Keira was on top of her career with her hits like Bend It Like Beckham and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The 25-year-old actress admitted that she had lost interest in the glamour world of Hollywood and was eagerly looking out for an excuse to run away.
“I think I intended not to work again. I wasn't enjoying what I was doing and I felt terribly guilty about that. I remember hating the idea that I was in a privileged position and couldn't see the point of any of it,' she said.
'I had worked solidly since I was 16, till 22, and I had not been on holiday in all of that time. I didn't know if I was going to go back to acting at all. I think for a long time I thought I wouldn't,' she added.
However, after taking a break from movies Keira realised that it is not the right time to retire therefore she returned to the scene again.
