The fourth season of KBC will be telecast on Sony this time. Since Star Plus didn’t renew the contract with KBC, so automatically the telecast passed to Sony Entertainment Channel.

The most popular reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati has changed channels this time. It will be telecast on Sony in the coming months.

It is officially announced that the show would be hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

The show is produced by Siddharth Basu from Synergy (now called Big Synergy) for Star Plus. It will now be aired on Sony.

Ajit Thakur, the executive VP of the channel says “discussions about the show have recently begun at multiple levels. Till everything gets sorted, it’s difficult to issue a statement.”

The actual quiz master Basu says “Star relinquished the KBC license some time back. And yes, the show is with Sony now. All the questions regarding the show and the host will have to be addressed to them since they are the broadcasters now. Of course, my company, Big Synergy, looks forward to producing it for them.”
