Kareena Is Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’ Kareena Kapoor

Karina Kapoor does not give Madhur Bhandarkar’s movies a miss now. Last time, he offered Kareena ‘Fashion’ in the lead role, but due to her busy schedules, she turned down the offer. She regrets her rejection even now, as Priyanka won a national award for her solid performance in the movie.

Presently, she is working on three projects, ‘Ra.One’ with SRK, ‘Agent Vinod’ with Saif and ‘Golmaal 3’. Now, she has got an offer from Madhur Bhandarkar for a project called ‘Heroine’.

It seems Bebo doesn’t want to do anything else while doing Madhur’s movie. She adds, “It’s the right subject for Madhur and me to work on together. I promise to give my heart and soul to just this one film, once it goes on the floors, since it is a performance-oriented role.”

The movie has some elements of Marilyn Monroe’s life and Madhur is supplying her with some research work materials based on Hollywood beauty Monroe as her homework.

Kareena also says that she is a big fan of old movies and she just fascinates the beauty of old actresses like Madhubala.

She adds, “That’s what I do whenever I get a day off. It helps me get into character. This role is tailor-made for me because I’ve been a heroine since I was in my mother’s womb. I eat, drink and breathe acting.”
