Kapil Dev has blamed BCCI for the poor performance of Indian team in the first ODI against Australia at Vadodara. The former Indian skipper criticized the Board of flawed system of working and policies.
The home team lost the first game by four runs in the series. According to Dev it is not only the players who are responsible for the team’s dismal show but the entire Board should take the responsibility.
Dev was also unhappy with the board’s decision to sack bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad and fielding coach Robin Singh and said that such moves would do no good to the team .Dev suggested aggressively that it is the entire board that needs to be replaced and not just one or two members of the team.
