Bollywood starlet Kangana Ranaut has backed out from Ekta’s next psychological thriller Ragini MMS.
The movie which is based on real life MMS scandal was to have Kangana as the lead actress but the controversial content forced the beauty to ditch Ekta.
Now that the Gangster beauty has denied doing the film, Balaji productions is looking for beautiful faces to finalise for the role. The movie is scheduled to hit the floors next week and is expected to be out in March 2011.
A source close to the project said, “Yes, ‘Ragini MMS’ has a lot of explicit content. That could be one of the reasons why Kangna turned it down. She would have been ideal for this film, as she is a very strong actress, but it`s okay. There is no animosity between Kangana and Ekta. Balaji is considering Kangana for other forthcoming projects.”
No worries, time will only tell if it was a wise decision of Kangana to back out or not.
