Veteran Indian actor Kamal Hassan may soon be seen in a martial arts film and that too an Indo-Japanese one. One hears that Bharatbala will produce and direct this film, which will also star the Japanese megastar Tadanobu Asano.

Tadanobu Asano is widely known for playing a Samurai in the superhit film ‘Zatoichi’ themed on a legendary blind swordsman. The story of this Indo-Japanese film explores the roots of martial arts down to Kalarippayattu of Kerala.   

One hears that this Bharatbala film will be made in Tamil, Hindi as well as Japanese. It reportedly will be made on a massive budget of 50-million dollar and will be produced in alliance with Walt Disney. Noted musician AR Rahman has been roped in to do the background score.
