After a lot of dilly dallying, actress Kajol has finally said yes to acting in Karan Johar’s movie My Name Is Khan. Surely the audience will wait for the release of this film with abated breath as Kajol will be paired with none other than the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan in it. The news probably will seem like music to the ears of all but Kareena Kapoor, as it was her whom KJo had roped in for the lead role after Kajol turned down the offer the first time.

 

It is apparent now that Karan Johar had never buried his hope of coaxing Kajol back into giving his film proposal a second thought. Lucky him as he has finally succeeded in his mission despite the fact that Kareena Kapoor must be fuming mad at him right now. It is learnt that Kajol okayed acting in My Name Is Khan only on Thursday 22 May.

 

A source from the industry said that it was not easy for Kajol to refuse KJo’s offer the first time as both are very good friends. The source further added that it was after Kajol read the script in detail recently that she agreed to working in the KJo movie. Well with the responsibility of looking after her family and daughter Nysa now, it remains to be seen how Kajol balances everything together alongside work.
