The NDTV Convergence has collaborated with July System to provide consumers an improved Mobile 2.0 version based services called the Mi SMS. The companies state that Mi SMS service has been created to provide more personalized, interactive and multi-media experience on cell phones. Officials inform that all those mobile owners who have the GPRS connectivity can have access to all latest data pertaining videos, news, stocks, stories, cricket and so on.

The NDTV Active will provide content for all these. The main difference is that that these services can be availed by the subscribers free of cost. They will also be forwarded related mobile advertisements in the form of banners, videos and text ads. But then the consumers will be charged for data access from the operator. ‘We are targeting $1 million in revenue, which will comprise about 15 per cent of our total revenue through this service,’ said Sanjay Trehan, CEO, NDTV Convergence.
