The 22-year Indian squash player, Joshna Chinappa won the final of the NSC Super Satellite squash tournament and claimed consecutive titles of WISPA.

India's squash player, Joshna Chinappa claimed the WISPA title for the second consecutive time by winning the final of the Malaysian squash tournament. Joshna Chinappa registered her victory in the final of the NSC Super Satellite No 4 squash tournament after defeating Low Wee Wern by 11-8, 11-7, 11-6. The final of the squash tournament took place at the National Squash Centre courts in Bukit Jalil, Malaysia. Joshna Chinappa had also registered her first WISPA title at the same venue, last week. The 22-year squash player from Chennai became the first Indian women to claim back-to-back titles.
 
The ace Indian squash player looked very determined and focused in the final match. She gave a though competition to her three seeded Malaysian opponent, Low Wee Wern.  Before leaving for the Malaysian squash tournaments, Joshna underwent serious training at the ICL Academy along with the top men’s players like National champion Saurav Ghosal. Meanwhile the Chennai-based squash player has decided to shift to England to train with noted coach, Malcolm Willstrop.
 
Speaking to reporters after Joshna's victory, her father Anjan Chinappa stated that after watching her play it seems that she has brought a tremendous improvement in her attitude and approach. According to him, Joshna's training at the ICL Academy has really helped her to gain confidence and fitness to win consecutive titles. Anjan Chinappa is hopeful that his daughter will soon enter into top-10 bracket. The current ranking of Joshna Chinappa is 39.
