Bollywood star, John Abraham will soon be seen in a new avatar of co-producer in his upcoming flick, ‘Alien Sahib’. The film is Shirish Kunder’s upcoming directorial venture which will also have John playing a role in it.

As per the sources, director had quite a few number of names shortlisted for the movie like ‘Banjo Party’, ‘Muscle Power’, ‘Bachelor Party’ ‘Animal’, ‘Joker’, ‘Son of a Gun’, ‘Technicolor’ and ‘Triple Cross’ for the flick. But both Shirish and John finally decided on ‘Alien Sahib’ as the title for the movie.

A close source said, "It is not John who plays an alien in the film. Like Rakesh Roshan did something in ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ that resulted in an alien being introduced in the film, here too John does something that brings an alien into the story. But, ‘Alien Sahib’ will not be a sci-fi film."

John will start working for ‘Alien Sahib’ once he is done with Nishikant Kamat`s action movie. John is working hard on his body for Kunder’s film as he intends to get a ‘Jism’ look for this movie too. As per the source, "John has a bulky body in Nishikant`s film but he will have to shed several pounds before he faces the camera for ‘Alien Sahib.’ He will have to lose at least 8 kgs."

John commented, “‘Alien Sahib’ is a simple, endearing story with beautiful emotions. I am really excited about it because it has a beautiful story. Human stories always strike a chord."

With regard to John turning co-producer, Shirish said, "John and I have been in talks for more than a year to do this film but John had other commitments. He and I are quite similar in nature. We realised that we were on the same page so it would be better if both of us are involved in the making of the film." He added, "We will be getting foreign technicians for this film. Lately, John and I have been talking to quite a few them. Moreover, we will be using a fusion digital 3D camera, a technique which has been used in James Cameron`s ‘Avatar’. "
