Bbollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has replaced his “New York” movie co-star, John Abraham in Rohit Dhawan’s directorial debutial venture.

Just few days back there were reports that Akshay Kumar and John Abraham will be playing the role of pole dancers in a strip club in Rohit Dhawan’s movie.

According to sources, “Cost cutting” was the reason that John Abraham was dropped from the movie and his role is given to Neil Nitin Mukesh.

“With the ongoing recession, the makers, Eros apparently felt taking John would have multiplied their making costs and it would have been better to opt for a much cheaper and now also reliable Neil Nitin Mukesh for the same part”, said a source.

Another source informs, “John is presently in London shooting for Abbas Tyrewala’s next after Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and still doesn’t yet have the complete idea as to why he has been dropped”.
