Bollywood actor John Abraham has been named as the sexiest Asian man of the year by the leading British Asian weekly Eastern Eye. John Abraham replaced last year's topper Shah Rukh Khan while Hrithik Roshan has to please himself with the second spot for the second consecutive year. Speaking on the occasion Hamant Verma, editor of Eastern Eye sated that the heartthrob actor pulled more fans by displaying his well toned physique in his latest movie, Dostana.

 

The judges who decided on the shortlist of 10 names included Brianna Ragel, editor of Asian Woman Magazine, Che Kurrien, editor of GQ India and Farhad Dadyburjor, former editor of FHM India. Last year's sexiest man, Shah Rukh Khan bagged the third position in the list. Newcomers like TV presenter Rav Wilding and actors Harman Baweja and Stephen Uppal have made into the list of 50 sexiest man.

 

Other individuals who were inducted on the top 10 list include Pakistani musician Ali Zafar, model-turned-actor Upen Patel, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Imran Khan, pop singer-songwriter Jay Sean and Britain born Pakistani boxer Amir Khan respectively. The British weekly, Eastern Eye conducts such type of nominations once in a year.
