With the deadlock between the management and pilots of the Jet Airways not being solved, 150 flights, including 15 international flights, of the private air carrier have been cancelled since Friday morning.
An official of the airline had announced on Friday morning about 30 flights of certain sectors may have to be cancelled.
These include services on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad, Mumbai-Vadodra, Mumbai-Mangalore, Mumbai-Bengaluru, Mumbai-Kochi, Mumbai-Chennai and Mumbai-Bhopal sectors in the western region.
In the eastern region, the airline was expected to operate in the Kolkata-Jorhat, and Kolkata-Agartala sectors.
In the northern region, the services on the Delhi-Amritsar and Delhi-Udaipur sectors were supposed to remain unaffected.
In the southern region, services were supposed to be operated in the Chennai-Coimbatore sectors.
The airline had cancelled almost 240 services across the network on Thursday as 500-plus pilots had reported ‘sick’. But the National Aviators Guild had been willing to resume duty, if the management was ready to restore the sacked pilots.
The Striking pilots will be holding talks with the chief labour commissioner and the management in New Delhi on Friday.
