With the pilots of Jet Airways marked an end to their five-day protest on Saturday after the successful discussion with the management, the flights are expected to resume their operations on Sunday,
Jet Airways Chairman, Naresh Goyal, who addressed the media after the cordial solution was decided upon, said that the changes will be effective from Sunday. “The airline will operate its full schedule of services on all sectors with all crew reporting for their normal roster duties”, said Goyal.
Girish Kaushik, who is the leader of the newly-formed National Aviators Guild, has disclosed that the deadlock has been resolved and the pilots will be assuming their respective duties from Sunday.
"An amicable settlement has been reached. It was like a misunderstanding in a family," he said.
The international flights are now flying according to then schedule whereas the domestic flights will be resuming their routine only from Sunday afternoon.
The demand of the NAG for the restoring the sacked pilots have been agreed by the Jet Airways management.
